Sarah E. Rhea is an illustrator, storyteller, and author who creates whimsical, emotionally rich stories inspired by folklore, nature, and the wonder of childhood. Through atmospheric illustrations, expressive characters, and immersive worldbuilding, she crafts stories that celebrate imagination, resilience, and the connections that shape us.

 

Inspired by the magic hidden within everyday moments, Sarah’s work explores themes of courage, belonging, and discovery, inviting readers to step into new worlds and see their own with fresh eyes. Her projects range from enchanting picture books to narrative-driven visual development, all rooted in a lifelong love of storytelling.

 

Sarah holds an MFA in Visual Development and a BFA in Design Arts. Her artwork has been featured in collaborations with clients including Disney, Marvel, Amazon, Google, and Universal Studios. In addition to her creative work, she teaches art and design at the collegiate level, helping the next generation of artists develop their own visual voices.

 

She lives along the Gulf Coast with her family, where she can often be found sketching, writing, and dreaming up new stories.
